What you will do

  • Take off quantities from plans and specifications for paving, striping, concrete and signage scopes.
  • Walk sites, measure existing conditions and photograph what the plans do not show.
  • Build proposals that state scope, phasing and exclusions clearly enough to hold up at closeout.
  • Work with general contractors and property managers through bid questions and revisions.
  • Hand won work to operations with the detail the crew actually needs.

What you need

  • Experience estimating paving, striping, concrete or a related civil trade.
  • Able to read construction plans and specifications.
  • Comfortable with takeoff and spreadsheet tools.
  • Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to sites across Central Texas.

Helpful to have

  • Experience with municipal or TxDOT work.
  • ADA compliance knowledge.
  • Existing relationships with Central Texas general contractors.
